CTET- Central Teacher Eligibility Test

It is a computer-based test that consists of two papers (paper 1 and paper 2).  Paper 1 is for primary teachers (classes 1 to 5) and paper 2 is for elementary teachers (classes 6 to 8). Candidates who want to teach classes 1 to 8 can appear for both papers. There are a total of 150 questions in each paper. 1 mark will be awarded to each correct answer and no negative marking will be done for the incorrect answers. 

UPTET- Uttar Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test 

UPTET is a state-level exam conducted in Uttar Pradesh for determining eligible candidates for teaching at primary and upper primary level schools in Uttar Pradesh. This exam is conducted by UPESSC- Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission on behalf of the Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board (UPBEB).

The exam is conducted in two shifts for two papers (paper 1 and paper 2). Paper 1 is for the candidates who want to teach classes 1 to 5 and paper 2 is for those who want to teach classes 6 to 8. However, candidates who want to teach classes 1 to 8 can appear for both papers. This exam is conducted once a year through offline mode. The duration of the exam is 150 minutes for each paper. 1 mark will be allotted to each correct answer and no negative marking will be done. 

Super TET- Super Teacher Eligibility Test

Super TET is a state-level teacher eligibility exam conducted by UPBED- Uttar Pradesh Basic Education Board for recruiting candidates for teaching positions at primary (classes 1 to 5) and upper primary (classes 6 to 8) level government schools all over the state of Uttar Pradesh. This exam is conducted offline mode every year. To appear for this exam, candidates should have qualified for the CTET or UPTET exam.
